The hotel was exceptionally clean! It smelled wonderful. That was the first thing I noticed and commented on that several times. My kids enjoyed the pool. It was also very clean and always fully stocked with pool towels. Having a restroom AT the pool was very nice. We were upgraded to a king suite for free and that was an unexpected surprise. The location was in a very busy area, but it was convenient to the places we visited. We went to the NC museum of Science (highly recommend!) and also went for a walk in William Umstead Park. Overall I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and the kindness of the staff. Breakfast was very good too.

There were a few blips. There was no working fan in the bathroom, There needed to be a little more attention to cleaning in odd places like door frames. The sink drained incredibly slow, and I feel like there should be an additional trash can. Very minor issues. The beds and pillows were magnificent as always, which are my main reasons for staying at Hampton Inns. The adorable lady named Silvana at the breakfast bar was an absolute delight. She welcomed everyone and made them feel special. Overall this was a great property that I would visit again.

This was a nice and unexpected treat. The room was bigger than expected. The interrupt and exterior were clean. The breakfast was excellent. There was a great variety to choose from. Close to downtown museums.

It was the first time I used the Hilton phone App to check in and out and enter the room without stopping at the entrance desk. My wife was impressed! We both liked the large pump containers of shampoo/conditioner/body wash that were mounted on the shower wall. I also found it very convenient to log into my Netflix account.

We liked the coffee station, and the efficiency of the elevator, the ample parking, the comfort of the room, the blackout shades, the strong shower, the lovely events that took place when we were there, which seemed to be run with care.
